I have been participating in and observing the performing arts since I was eighteen months old and getting in the way during the floor exercises of my mother’s dance classes.
I have been a persistent audience member, a dancer, an actor, a house manager, a stage manager, and a playwright. Under another hat, I’ve been an engineer, a programmer, a user interface designer, and a video game designer.
This blog is a collection of my observations of theatre, of the processes that let people create theatre, and of other things that strike me as dramatically or interactionally interesting. I’d love to hear your views.
